Tartan Cable Coaxial Digital Audio Cable (15 feet) Feature

  • 75 ohm characteristic impedance, coaxial cable geometry
  • Compatible with all standard coaxial digital audio inputs and outputs on DVD players, DVRs, AV receivers, etc.
  • Black PVC Jacket with gold-plated connectors
  • CL2 rated for in-wall installation
  • Combination braid and foil shielding for excellent EMI/RFI rejection
Coaxial Digital Audio cables are used to carry stereo or multichannel audio down a single digital signal path, and are also sometimes called S/PDIF cables; jacks which accept or put out coaxial digital audio signals are frequently, though not always, color-coded orange, and so these digital audio cables have orange RCA plugs to aid in matching cables to jacks. Because coaxial digital audio was designed to run on conventional analog video cable, these 75 ohm digital audio cables are equally suitable for use as composite video cables; in fact, our composite video cable, which is identical apart from having a yellow rather than an orange connector, is a bit lower-priced if you're looking for a bargain.
